The Big Four-Oh!

Hi! It's April now. My computer and I broke (broke being the operative word) up for a bit. Don't ask. We're back.

Anyway, I turned the big four-oh on March 12 and my awesome husband took me to Dublin to celebrate my birthday and St. Patrick's Day!

Not wanting to miss out on cake, we pre-celebrated my big day:

Then it was off to Ireland! We stayed in the middle of it all at the Westbury Dublin where my weekend started out with birthday wishes spelled out in chocolate and just got better from there!

With two littles we made the call not to stand in the (constant and long) queue for the Book of Kells, but we did enjoy Trinity College and many other not-to-miss attractions.

Some St. Patrick's Day parade fun before we headed home. I am pretty sure we stopped at the booth that painted marijuana leaves instead of shamrocks ;-P

We made more than one stop at the Disney Store, larger than life Spiderman, Hulk, Captain America, Sven and Anna...what's not to love!?

Meanwhile, Evy is making her debut at Crazy Caterpillars. Her adjustment time improves with each visit. Today, she stayed with the class until just before lunch and enjoyed a walk through the park including a very exciting encounter with construction vehicles.
