Only one of the following statements is false:
1. I love to move.
2. I have a Rhodesian Ridgeback named Pete Francis Bupp.
3. I am a newlywed.
Ok, that was too easy. Who loves to move? Not me.
Alas, the unpacking is finished! Turns out, it's a lot easier when you only have a limited amount of your personal effects to arrange (read: I never thought of decorating with a nicely folded towel, but they can really add color).
Since I like to visualize where a person is when we talk, I have decided my first official post will be pictures (likely too many) of the new digs, so you can picture us tucked into our house on the hill when we chat.

ReplyDeleteI'm so excited we get to follow along your journey in Seoul -- Clearly we're seeing the good here, your house is amazing. I love how you've set it up and I hope it feels a bit like home. I know we can count on you to share all your fun, funny and frightening (pizza ordering and hair appts!). Have fun and enjoy. Miss you --
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Kristie
PS I do have to laugh looking at the posting date -- I received and first viewed going to bed last night, Sept 6th, but the posting date is today, Sept 7th :)
I am so glad that you're blogging so we can keep up with you! The house looks great and BIG and Pete looks like he's settling in nicely. Can't wait for more posts!
ReplyDeleteI love it and you!!! Way to go! One question though...is Kyle refusing to "adopt" Pete? His name is still "Bupp". :)
ReplyDeleteI love how Pete made it into most of the pictures... ham;) Kathy dropped off my jewelry today and made me think of you and miss you. Hope all is well and you're getting acclimated!
ReplyDeleteHi Shelby,
ReplyDeleteI just wrote an awesome post which I will attempt to duplicate and in my commentary I suggested it would be amazing if you ever received my thoughts because I am technically deficient beyond imagination. And, low and behold, my first attempt at my very first post comment didn't work because I am technically challended. Not suprising. So, I am trying it again! Ok . . . here we go . . . love the pix, love the commentary, love the story. Suggestion and Comments: Suggestion: After your 1 year stint in Korea, you must save your blogs and pix and write a book. For anyone who knows you and doesn't know you, this is awesome reading!! You are very talented in your story telling and commentary. I'm telling you, the book will sell!! Comments: I believe your house is cleaner and neater than mine. Never thought there was someone out there (besides my mom) that was more anal than me about neatness and presentation. Your house is immaculate and is very inviting. I love it!! I think I have met my soul sister, although, I think I told you that when I first met you. Our personalities are the same, our taste is the same and we are both super cute. Anyways, from one soul sister to the other . . . love you and miss you and I hope one of your upcoming blogs announces that you will be growing your family! Love you and Kyle. Til the next time . . . Your sis, Kimmy.
And, obviously, I can't spell either. I am technically challenged. Correction on spelling in post. Hee hee.
ReplyDeleteReplacing your house windows can provide many benefits to your home. They are not only an attractive part of your home, but they also provide a barrier to the elements outside. Homes built twenty to thirty years ago just do not have the quality of home windows that are produced today.
