I live in Birmingham, Michigan, with my husband Kyle, our son Nathan and our daughter Evelyn. The blog is named for our late dog Pete, a Rhodesian Ridgeback who died in 2014. Late in 2015, we returned to the US after living five years overseas (Seoul, South Korea and Königstein im Taunus, Germany).

Perfect 20/20 Vision

20 weeks pregnant/20 weeks to go!

We are happy to report that Baby C, Junior, is hitting all his or her marks and measurements just as they should at week 20.

Today when we peeked in on him-or-her, he-or-she was sucking their thumb and had their legs crossed. A leisurely Tuesday.

We saw fingers and toes, tibias and fibulas, femurs and ulnas and a beautiful, four chambered, beating heart. When I commented on how much the baby has changed from the 16 week ultrasound, Dr. Vollman said, "Oh yes, we're done building and now onto the business of growing."

We attempted a 3D picture, but BCJr was "hiding" on Dr. Vollman. We'll try again at 24 weeks.

    1. Tell ya what, Ang, you can make Natey a boy blanket and we'll pass the "generic" one down to the baby we'll meet in September! ;-)sbc

    2. What?! Do you think that Nathan is going to give up his blanket? Realistically. I'm okay with that, if you think he will, but I don't want you ripping his blanket away from him if he's going to have a problem with it:) I'll just go yellow this time!
