Note to Readers: I am posting the fun of our summer while simultaneously doing my best to keep you up to date on "the now." So, the posts flip back and forth from June and July to the present day...and back again. Sooner or later, we'll be all caught up! Sorry for any confusion. sbcJess knows I love to organize, so every once in a while she asks me to come over and tackle a couple of things that are bugging her. To make the most of my last trip to Metro Detroit, I arranged to also meet up with some of our good friends that we met while living in Seoul. Talk about a full dance card!
Hadi was nice enough to not only take our kids while Jess and I spent the day organizing the Allen house, but also host the evening fête so that I didn't have to come home by the kids' bedtime. On top of that, she made her delicious guac and our "sandbar cottage lemonade!"
And more big thanks to Hadi and Jess for making a fun evening with the kids while I enjoyed adult time. These pictures remind me of a big part of the "why" that I liked Seoul so much.
Thanks for hosting and babysitting, Hadi! |
