I live in Birmingham, Michigan, with my husband Kyle, our son Nathan and our daughter Evelyn. The blog is named for our late dog Pete, a Rhodesian Ridgeback who died in 2014. Late in 2015, we returned to the US after living five years overseas (Seoul, South Korea and Königstein im Taunus, Germany).

To Make You Feel My Love

Note to Readers: I am posting the fun of our summer while simultaneously doing my best to keep you up to date on "the now." So, the posts flip back and forth from June and July to the present day...and back again. Sooner or later, we'll be all caught up! Sorry for any confusion. sbc
My niece Anneke married Cory Oslin on June 21 at beautiful Cottonwood Barn in Dexter, Michigan. It was a very special day best told in pictures:
Jess and Evy
Jay walking Heather down the aisle. Jay designed and made Anneke's beautiful dress.
Lonnie and Evy find some shade during the sunny ceremony
Maddie and Sami make gorgeous flower girls
Matt and Anneke
This pic makes my heart happy.
Father of the Bride
Schuyler sang Bob Dylan's "To Make You Feel My Love" as Anneke and Matt walked down the aisle.
It was beautiful.
