First stops were Neuschwanstein Castle and King Ludwig II's Castle. These castles inspired the Disney Castles we all know and love. In a word, they were breathtaking.

Waiting for the tour of Neuschwanstein. There were no photos allowed, but it was truly, truly something. |
In Munich, we visited the famed Haufbrau House, Marienplatz and the Rathhaus Clock (and Starbucks, of course). Munich is a great city and I cannot wait to go back.

The adults in this shot spent St. Patrick's day (the night before this pic) at the Haufbrau House... Time for some hair of the dog? |
This is where the regulars keep their stein--under lock and key! |
