On The Hunt

Tuesday we visited Hof Gimbach in neighboring Kelkheim for the Mother's Corner Easter Egg Hunt. They let the "under threes" get a head start. Once Nathan figured out that something was inside each egg, he insisted on stopping to open each and every egg before moving onto the next. It was slow going. The upside, from where I sit, is that we had less candy/sugar to sponsor the coming sugar highs.

Enter the bigger kids: fast and nimble egg swipers, these kids! Once Nate saw the bigger kids' method, he changed his tune and went for quantity.
